Russian Missile Strikes Kill at Least 11 in Ukraine’s Dobropillia

Death Toll and Injuries

At least 11 people, including five children aged between 3 and 17, were killed in overnight Russian missile strikes on the eastern Ukrainian town of Dobropillia. Around 30 others were wounded in the attack.

Nature of the Attack

Russian forces used ballistic missiles, multiple rocket systems, and drones in the assault. The attack caused severe damage to multi-storey buildings and vehicles in the city.

Other Strikes in Ukraine

In a separate incident, Russian forces shelled the village of Bilozerka in the southern Kherson region, killing a 57-year-old woman and wounding three others.

Response from Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, calling them an act of “absolute evil.” He vowed a strong response to Russia’s continued aggression.
