Crew-10 Mission Takes Off

NASA and SpaceX launched the Crew-10 mission on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 7:03 p.m. EDT from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mission carries four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).

Astronaut Crew Members

The Crew-10 team consists of:

  • Anne McClain (NASA)
  • Nichole Ayers (NASA)
  • Takuya Onishi (JAXA)
  • Kirill Peskov (Roscosmos)

They are scheduled to arrive at the ISS on Saturday, March 15, at approximately 11:30 p.m. EDT.

Mission Objective and Return of Stranded Astronauts

Crew-10’s arrival will facilitate the return of NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been aboard the ISS since June 2024. Their return was delayed due to technical issues with Boeing’s Starliner capsule, which was initially intended to bring them back.

Significance of the Mission

This mission ensures the continued human presence and research aboard the ISS, reinforcing international cooperation in space exploration.
