Tulip Siddiq Resigns Amid Controversy

Siddiq, who was responsible for overseeing financial services and combating corruption, stepped down after weeks of scrutiny regarding her connection to her aunt, Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Hasina was ousted as Prime Minister of Bangladesh last year, prompting questions surrounding Siddiq’s ties to the political upheaval.
